Caitlin Walker, OTR/L, CHT

I began working as an Occupational Therapist in 2008 at an acute rehab hospital. After several years, I transitioned to work at Walter Reed National Military Medical Hospital in the polytrauma and amputee center. I rehabilitated an abundance of patients with arm and hand trauma, including working closely with our arm transplant patients. I discovered my passion for hand therapy during this experience.

In 2015, I transitioned to working at an orthopedic outpatient hand therapy clinic connected to ATAMMC (previously Ft. Belvoir), where I have been for 10 years. During my time here, I obtained my Certified Hand Therapist certification (CHT) in 2018. A CHT certification is the highest achievable board certification in the field of Occupational Therapy.

I am excited to offer in-home conciege Hand Therapy for our Northern Virginia area!

It all begins with treating your pain and decreasing inflammation, helping you to get some relief.

Help you feel confident

It can be intimidating to attempt to resume activities without clear strategies or limits. We will work together towards getting you back to the activities you enjoy.

Give you the skills

I want to help you learn how to prevent injuries like this in the future and what to do if an injury like this occurs again.
